The Catch
Being from the coast myself, I loved designing this beachy surface pattern collection for the brief, 'Coastal Escape'. I used the one-liner process to draw the sea-life and the background elements to signify fisherman's fishing lines. Watercolour splashes reflecting the ocean spray create the colourful nature of the crabs, prawns and lobsters, the true stars of the show. Sea salt textured Breton stripes give a nod to summer while one-liner lighthouses and sailing boats complete this sea inspired collection. Voted 'Top Pick' by trend consultancy, Porter & Brawn.
